About Thought Mending
Hi, I am Hina Asghar
I am a Clinical Psychologist and Psychology Tutor based in Lahore, Pakistan — and I created Thought Mending because I believe that understanding your mind, mental health and overall wellness should not feel complicated or out of reach.
In my work as a psychologist, I meet people every day who are struggling — with anxiety, stress, emotional pain, or simply trying to make sense of their own thoughts and feelings. And one thing I notice again and again is that people want to understand what is happening inside their minds, but most psychology content is either too technical or too shallow to actually help.
That is exactly why I started this blog.
Who We Are!
What is thoughtmending?
Thought Mending is a psychology and mental health blog written for real people — not just psychology students or professionals. We cover topics like mental health, connection between mental health and physical health, anxiety, stress, therapy, psychological disorders, health psychology, forensic psychology, and much more.
Every article here is written in simple, clear language. We use research and clinical knowledge to make sure everything is accurate. But we never let that get in the way of making it easy and enjoyable to read.
Whether you are going through a difficult time, studying psychology, or simply curious about how the human mind works — this blog is your space to learn, reflect, and grow.
Our Vision
We envision a Pakistan — and a world — where mental health is taken as seriously as physical health. We want to break the stigma around psychological struggles and make it normal for people to talk about, understand, and seek help for their mental wellbeing.
Our Mission
We built Thought Mending on three simple commitments:
1. Make Psychology Easy to Understand We write every article in plain, everyday language. Our goal is to bring psychology out of the classroom and into your daily life — where it actually belongs.
2. Keep Everything Trustworthy and Accurate All content on this blog is written or reviewed by Hina Asghar, a qualified Clinical Psychologist. We base our articles on real research and professional knowledge — not guesswork or trends.
3. Support Your Mental Wellbeing We want every reader to leave this blog feeling more informed, more understood, and more confident about taking care of their mental health.
